Python Client for Google Cloud Appengine Logging

ga pypi versions

This package contains generated Python types for google.appengine.logging.v1.request_log.

Installation

Install this library in a virtualenv using pip. virtualenv is a tool to create isolated Python environments. The basic problem it addresses is one of dependencies and versions, and indirectly permissions.

With virtualenv, it’s possible to install this library without needing system install permissions, and without clashing with the installed system dependencies.

Mac/Linux

python3 -m venv <your-env>
source <your-env>/bin/activate
<your-env>/bin/pip install google-cloud-appengine-logging

Windows

python3 -m venv <your-env>
<your-env>\Scripts\activate
<your-env>\Scripts\pip.exe install google-cloud-appengine-logging

Note

Because this client uses grpc library, it is safe to share instances across threads. In multiprocessing scenarios, the best practice is to create client instances after the invocation of os.fork() by multiprocessing.pool.Pool or multiprocessing.Process.
