Addexternallyhosted(ApksAddExternallyHostedRequest, string, string)

Creates a new APK without uploading the APK itself to Google Play, instead hosting the APK at a specified URL. This function is only available to organizations using Managed Play whose application is configured to restrict distribution to the organizations.

Remarks

Considerations regarding stream:

  • If stream is seekable, then the stream position will be reset to 0 before reading commences. If stream is not seekable, then it will be read from its current position
  • Caller is responsible for maintaining the stream open until the upload is completed
  • Caller is responsible for closing the stream
