CreateSnapshot

protected CreateSnapshot(String project,
                         String zone,
                         String disk,
                         Snapshot content)

Creates a snapshot of a specified persistent disk. Create a request for the method "disks.createSnapshot". This request holds the parameters needed by the the compute server. After setting any optional parameters, call the AbstractGoogleClientRequest.execute() method to invoke the remote operation.

CreateSnapshot#initialize(com.google.api.client.googleapis.services.AbstractGoogleCl ientRequest) must be called to initialize this instance immediately after invoking the constructor.

Parameters:

project - Project ID for this request.

zone - The name of the zone for this request.

disk - Name of the persistent disk to snapshot.

content - the Snapshot

For example, consider a situation where you make an initial request and the request times out. This prevents clients from accidentally creating duplicate commitments. The request ID must be a valid UUID with the exception that zero UUID is not supported (00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000).
